Grade 430 Stainless Steel
430 stainless steel is a ferritic, straight chromium alloy melted as AOD. This alloy is non-hardenable but has excellent corrosion resistance at higher temperatures and possesses average mechanical properties. This grade is easily formable making it excellent for large complex geometries. This grade also has excellent finishing qualities making it a great candidate for the appliance industry as dish washer lining, refrigerator panels, and stove trim rings.
