Grade A2 Tool Steel

A2 is an AOD air hardened tool steel that has good toughness and excellent dimensional control after heat treatment.  This grade has improved wear resistance as compared to the O series (oil hardened) tool steels.  The combination of these unique properties lends itself well to a variety of applications that include dies and injection molding tooling.  Universal Stainless rolls this product on a 4HI reversing blooming mill into plate.
