Grade S7 Tool Steel

S7 is an AOD melted shock resisting tool steel.  It possesses excellent impact properties and can be air hardened.  This combination makes it excellent for a large variety of tooling applications.  It can easily be machined in the annealed condition and upon heat treating has limited warping of dimensional tolerances.
