Grade X53 Low Alloy Steel
X53 is a low alloy carburizing steel melted as VIM + VAR. This is a premium quality grade that is double vacuum melted providing great fracture toughness and impact strength. This grade also has excellent fatigue strength making it suitable for stringent rotorcraft applications such as gearbox components.
