Grade N135M Low Alloy Steel
N135M is a low alloy steel melted as AOD + VAR. This grade is a nitriding grade capable of producing a very high case hardness while still maintaining high strength in the core. The increased wear resistance from nitriding makes this grade perfect for highly stressed gears in the rotorcraft industry.
